Big Meadows Guard Station

Cabin in Kings Canyon National Park

This restored 1930s USFS patrol station built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) sleeps six people and offers a rustic stay. Around 4 miles east of the Generals Hwy between the parks, the one-bedroom cabin sits at an elevation of 7600ft. It has hot water, electricity and a full kitchen (with utensils), but you’ll need to bring bedding and towels.
