Running from Hope to Cooper Landing in the Chugach National Forest, the 39-mile Resurrection Pass Trail was carved by prospectors in the late 1800s and today is the most popular hiking and cross-country biking route on the Kenai Peninsula. There's only an 1100ft elevation gain.

It's popular for mountain bikers who can ride it in a day, while hikers usually take three to five days to complete it. There are many public use cabins and designated campsites.
