Widely considered the best of Helen's German restaurants, Bodensee even boasts a Romanian-trained chef with considerable Bavarian experience. Pork specialties feature aplenty: hauspfannle (pork tenderloin with bacon and mushroom-cream sauce, rouberspiess (pork loin with paprika, onion and spicy 'Gypsy' sauce) and, of course, schnitzel.

But there are beef (sauerbraten with potato dumplings and red cabbage, Hungarian goulash) and veggie choices as well. Get your German on!
