Welcome to Port Allen & Around
The island's next biggest harbor after Lihuʻe, Port Allen centers on a mini mall packed with charter companies and wedged into a largely industrial port area. The majority of the island’s Na Pali Coast tours leave from Port Allen and, depending on the season, there is a variety of ways to experience the spectacular seascape – from snorkeling in summer to whale-watching in winter. The small Port Allen Airport faces the harbor from across the bay, but is adjacent to Hanapepe, not ʻEleʻele, the town closest to the port.
There is a smallish Glass Beach and overlook just south of town worth checking out before or after your Na Pali tour.
