This tour combines mountain biking and packrafting in order to explore a section of the Green River that can otherwise only be seen on multi-day rafting trips. We'll ride our bikes down an old mining road to a point along the Green River. Here, we'll blow up our packrafts (that we've been carrying in our backpacks!), strap our bikes down to the front and float down one of the most scenic sections of the Green River Labyrinth Canyon corridor - all in a day's work!
ItineraryThis is a typical itinerary for this productWe will meet at our shop in downtown Moab where we'll outfit you with a mountain bike and packraft - a small boat that fits in your backpack and will be used to float one of the most scenic sections of the Green River near Moab. We'll drive west from town for about 45 minutes and get dropped off with all of our gear. On our mountain bikes, we'll descend an old mining road and lose over 1,000 feet of elevation along the way. Once at the banks of the Green River, we'll inflate our boats and strap our bikes to the front. From here, you can sit back and enjoy an incredibly scenic, flat-water float through Labyrinth Canyon. We'll stop at an old inscription from one of the first explorers of this area, then hop on our bikes for the final (3 mile) leg of this unique multi-sport adventure. Pass By: Moab Utah
