Getting Around

Traffic and parking are serious issues in Gatlinburg. The Gatlinburg Trolley serves downtown, and the trolley’s tan line ($2) goes into the national park between July and October, with stops at Sugarlands Visitor Center, Laurel Falls and Elkmont Campground. Parking lots around town generally charge $10 for the day. If you get to town very early, you may snag free on-street parking on River Rd.
