Getting Around

The QLine streetcar (www.qlinedetroit.com; fare $1.50) started running in spring 2017. It provides handy transport along Woodward Ave from Congress St downtown, past the sports venues and museums of Midtown, to the Amtrak station and W Grand Blvd at the route's northern end.

MoGo (www.mogodetroit.com) is Detroit's new bike-share program, with 43 stations scattered around downtown and Midtown. A 24-hour pass costs $8 for an unlimited number of 30-minute trips; additional charges apply for time over 30 minutes.

Transit Windsor operates the Tunnel Bus to Windsor, Canada. It costs $5 (American or Canadian) and departs by Mariner's Church (corner of Randolph St and Jefferson Ave) near the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel entrance, as well as other spots downtown. Bring your passport.
