Colorado Wolf & Wildlife Center

Wildlife in Manitou Springs

Located between the hamlets of Divide and Florissant, 24 miles west of Manitou Springs off Hwy 24, this private, nonprofit wildlife sanctuary shelters three subspecies of wolf (timber, arctic and Mexican gray), two species of fox (red and swift) and coyotes.

It offers three to four one-hour walking tours per day to educate the public about the importance of these creatures to the ecosystem of the Rocky Mountains. Advance reservations required.
