Renowned pastry chef Bobby Schaffer has opened one of Andersonville's newest spots, a Scandi-influenced bakery with an appropriately minimalist, elegant design. Wheat is milled on-site and local ingredients used for delicious pastries such as lingonberry-almond cake, cardamom buns and white-chocolate-marzipan duchess cake, plus loaves of honey-oat, spelt and potato breads. Chicago magazine voted its chocolate croissant the best in town.
