Point to what you want in the glass case, then a staff member will load it into the lazy Susan and spin it around to you. The device is hardly big enough to contain the shop's masterpiece – the Big Dat, a spongy glazed doughnut the size of a hubcap. Custard doughnuts, chocolate long johns and apple fritters also reign supreme.

Dat makes them 24 hours a day, six days a week, taking a break only on Sunday nights. You can see staff kneading, hand cutting and frying the dough behind the big glass window in back.
