This stark-black, newly built venue opened in late 2018. It holds an 80-seat theater for music, dance and storytelling performances, and an outdoor courtyard for public programs and open-air film screenings. Much of the programming is free, including the First Mondays Jazz series, held the first Monday of every month.

The theater is part of the University of Chicago–driven Arts Block, which also includes the Arts Incubator gallery.
