Incredible Western Road Trip: Starry Nights and City Lights (9 days)

DAY 1 - San Francisco to Big Sur (camping) Head south along the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway through Santa Cruz to Monterey. Check out what's beneath the water at the Monterey Bay Aquarium*, and visit historic Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf. You'll sleep under the stars near Big Sur. DAY 2 - Big Sur to Santa Barbara/SLO (camping) Enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean on a hike through Point Lobos State Reserve before heading south to Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. See one of the most beautiful waterfalls on the Pacific Coast, McWay Falls. Next, head to San Simeon to see the sea lions! You'll camp near SLO.DAY 3 - Santa Barbara/SLO to LA (hostel) Rent a stand up paddleboard* or just relax at the beach at the American Riviera: Santa Barbara! DAY 4 - LA to LV (hotel) See the LA sights before heading off to Sin City! Drive into the Mojave desert and into the Silver State, Nevada. Enjoy a driving tour of the famous Las Vegas Strip, and then dance the night away in one of Vegas’ epic clubs, or try to win big at one of the Strip’s mega casinos!Day 5 - Full Day LV (hotel)Explore what Las Vegas has to offer. If gambling's not your thing, check out the Neon Museum*, The world-famous Gangster Museum* and more! If you’re looking for further adventure, check out the amazing Grand Canyon* on an optional partner tour!Day 6 - LV to Sierras via Death Valley (camping) Death Valley is a rift valley and home to the United States’ lowest point, the scorching Badwater Basin. After traversing the valley, you’ll head off to the eastern side of the magnificent Sierra Mountains and our campsite. Day 7 - Eastern Sierras to Yosemite (camping) Get a view of Mono Lake before climbing to the top of Tioga Pass and Yosemite National Park. Hike in high country, dip your toes in Tenaya Lake, or check out the backside of Half Dome at Olmsted Point before heading down nearly 6,000 feet of elevation to your campsite. Day 8 - Full Day Yosemite (camping) Whether you’re biking through the valley, hiking from Glacier Point, following the Mist Trail and its many waterfalls, or strolling through meadows searching for wildlife, you're sure to have an amazing day in Yosemite National Park.Day 9 - Yosemite to San FranciscoHead through California Gold Country and the Central Valley to San Francisco. Join your group on an optional sunset sail* under the Golden Gate Bridge before saying goodbye to your travel family.*optional activities not included in tour price.

Grand Canyon West Rim Shuttle from Las Vegas

This shuttle departs Las Vegas at 6am for a drive through the Mojave desert and over the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial bridge onto the Hualapai Reservation. During your 4 hours at Grand Canyon West (admission at your own expense), there is time for visits to Eagle Point, Guano Point and Hualapai Ranch. The world famous Skywalk is an option at Eagle Point, rim views and walks are available at Guano Point. You can also choose to fly to the bottom of Grand Canyon and float on the Colorado River in a motorized pontoon boat.  During the drive, you'll will be able to access interpretive information, photos, videos, text and tour narration via a downloadable app for your mobile devices.  After departing Grand Canyon West, you'll have a photo stop at the Hoover Dam on the return trip to Las Vegas.

Zion National Park Day Tour

We pick you up at your Las Vegas Hotel or location at 8:00 am and drive a scenic road through the Mojave desert and down through the picturesque Virgin River Gorge. We travel through St. George, Utah and then on into Zion, Utah's most famous National Park. Huge canyon walls and sandstone cliffs rise against the azure blue skies. You may hike one of the many trails that ascend the walls or travel along the river to the narrows. If you are ambitious, climb the narrow ridge to the incredible Angels Landing. In Spring through Summer months visitors must use a shuttle system provided by the National Parks system to enter the main Park area. We'll have lunch at the lodge at either the snack bar or the Red Rock Grill. We will leave Zion at approximately 4:00 pm for a 2 1/2 hour return to Las Vegas.
