Boston's Western Suburbs in detail

Flights & getting there

Concord and Lowell are both accessible by MBTA commuter rail (www.mbta.com) from Boston, though you'll want a car (or a bicycle) if you intend to go to Walden Pond or any sites outside of town. Lexington is accessible by bus (except on Sunday), but you'll need a car to see the Minute Man National Historic Park. Bicycle is also a nice alternative here, as the town lies along the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway.
