Harvard Film Archive Cinematheque

Cinema in Cambridge

Five nights a week, the Cinematheque presents retrospectives of distinguished actors, screenings of rare films, thematic groupings and special events featuring the filmmakers themselves. The screenings – which often sell out – take place in the 200-seat theater in the esteemed Carpenter Center for the Arts (designed by Le Corbusier). Tickets go on sale 45 minutes ahead of show times.
