Boston Center for the Arts

Theater in South End & Chinatown

Our Review

There’s rarely a dull moment at the BCA, which serves as a nexus for excellent small theater productions. Over 20 companies present more than 45 separate productions annually, from comedies and drama to modern dance and musicals. The BCA occupies a complex comprising several buildings, including a cyclorama from 1884 built to display panoramic paintings, a former organ factory and the Mills Gallery.
