A rambling, historic Victorian house located in the center of town, this hostel packs in dusty long-distance backpackers during June and July, with a more varied mix of hikers, anglers, climbers and international travelers the rest of the year. There's a full kitchen, free coffee and bicycles for use, as well as a communal outdoors-loving atmosphere. Adults only.

Owner Matt Meyers, an avid climber, is an excellent source of information. Hostel showers are available for use for non-guests for $5.
