'Soul Kitchen' cooks contemporary tacos and inventive Mexican fare. There might be tequila-poached pear guacamole to start; small plates such as chili-ash-cured Arctic Char with avocado, Fresno chilies, candied ginger and tequila-ginger aguachile, or huitlacoche empanadas; and mains such as achiote-rubbed pork chops and seared scallops in cauliflower-hominy puree. Everything is good. You'll fight for a table during the downtown lunch rush.
