Midtown Atlanta is a motley mix of urban personalities. Geographically, it acts as a metropolitan mediator between commercial downtown and tony residential/commercial Buckhead. Peppered with the city's most modern skyscrapers, it is primarily a bustling business district of distinguished movers and shakers and Fortune 500 headquarters, but among the towering architecture, Midtown's place as the city's 'Heart of the Arts' reveals itself. Midtown's Art's District is home to the High Museum of Art, Fox Theatre and the Center for Puppetry Arts. Lastly, around Piedmont Park, it's the city's LGBT hotbed.
