The Rocky Mountains offer some of the best night time observing anywhere in the United States. I bring over 60 years of observing experience along with publishing a 3D book on the Aurora Borealis, providing NASA with some of my images and heading up telescopes for the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. We observe using a 22 inch Obsession Telescope which is computer controlled by the Sky Safari app that has over 4 million galaxies! We take a tour of the Universe starting out with Planets then work our way through the Milky Way Galaxy looking at binary stars, star forming nebulas, star clusters and planetary nebulas. We then turn our attention to galaxies. In the Virgo Cluster we can get several galaxies in one field of the eyepiece! To my knowledge no other person in Colorado offers this type of observing with this large of a telescope, coupled with the decades of experience...Truly a once in a lifetime experience!
