This narrow sandstone labyrinth with no marked trails provides an extra level of adventure for visitors. Due to the extreme nature of hiking here, permits (available at the Arches visitor center) are required. Otherwise, paid ranger-led walking tours are offered from April through September. These tours run 2½ to three hours and are generally offered twice daily (morning and afternoon).

Tickets for ranger-led tours (adult/child from $10/5) are sold in person only on a first-come, first-served basis at the visitor center up to seven days in advance.
