For the full-on Disney experience, there are three different hotels within Disneyland Resort, though there are less-expensive options just beyond the Disney gates in Anaheim. If you want a theme-park hotel for less money, try Knott’s Berry Farm.
Each of the resort’s hotels has a swimming pool with a waterslide, kids’ activity programs, fitness center, restaurants and bars, business center, and valet or complimentary self-parking for registered guests. Every standard room can accommodate up to five guests and has a minirefrigerator and a coffeemaker. Staying at one of Disney’s resort hotels may also get you early admission to the parks. Lodging and admission-ticket packages can save money.
Outside the Parks
Many Anaheim area motels and hotels offer packages combining lodging with theme-park tickets; most have family rooms or suites that sleep four to six people. Some local accommodations operate complimentary guest shuttles to Disneyland. Otherwise, consider staying within walking distance of the parks or along the public shuttle routes operated by Anaheim Resort Transportation.
