Learn how to roll delicious SHUSHI (not sushi! :-) while sipping some bubbly Jamaican-me-crazy Sake! Chef Franco Antonio hosts his rolling class every Tuesday of the month and introduces you to his concept "THE WORLD IN A ROLL". Inspired by his Cuban mother who would not eat Sushi, as it is raw, he created SHUSHI! Instead of raw fish, he would combine mouthwatering homemade cooked items in flavorful rolls, representing all different countries from the globe. A culinary journey which makes your palate jump for joy, a unique never before seen experience which lets you taste, for example, a German roll with roasted Sauerkraut, mini porc bites rolled in Pretzel sour dough, baked to crispy perfection and garnished with sweet mustard pearls! Or the Cuban Buena noche roll, made with sweet plantains, vieja ropa (stewed tender beef) and frijoles (black beans) and if you think Chef's creativity got to reach a limit at some point of time, you have never tried a Nicaraguan roll with mini tamale bits inside or the French roll with Filet Mignon rolled with love and top secret ingredients which will be revealed and explained by Chef in his class. You will be able to roll and dine four House of Food Porn (Chef Franco Antonio's innovative restaurant based in Little Haiti) recipes. After your course you will receive the World in a Roll culinary passport which certifies which country you learned how to roll & present.
