This leisurely ride highlights the beauty of Santa Barbara's downtown and waterfront providing amazing views of Santa Barbara, as well as a refreshing physical challenge that will bring your group together! This bike ride is great for intermediate to advanced riders and includes approximately 15 miles of biking along coastal bluffs amongst eucalyptus groves, quaint neighborhoods and orchards. Guests with also enjoy a picnic lunch at a local park, and friendly and knowledgeable guides offer discussion of natural and cultural history. Come cruise with us on our new fleet of mountain bikes!
Guests will meet their guides at the Santa Barbara Visitor's Center at 10:00am. Once there, you're fitted with a comfortable bicycle, helmets & gloves. Our friendly & knowledgeable guides will give a biking talk & riding demonstration & go over the expectations of the day before the biking begins. We'll set off along the waterfront to pedal past historical sites, picturesque parks & beautiful beaches. Our guides will be biking with you along the way, stopping at points of interest for photo opportunities & to talk about natural & cultural history. Enjoy the relaxing and scenic ride along the bike path to the Andree Clark Bird Refuge, Santa Barbara Zoo, pier, Stearns Wharf, harbor, State Street, coastal bluffs & nature preserve. A delicious deli-spread picnic is served at a local park with fresh veggies & fruit, a variety of wraps & sandwiches, chips, cookies & beverages. You will end the tour back at the Visitor's center around 3:00pm.

  • Parking fees of $9 per day per car may apply.
  • Gratuity for your guide(s) - While optional it is very much appreciated and to be given at your discretion in return for their leadership, expertise, and professionalism.You can tip the guide in cash or via credit card at the end of your tour as you feel appropriate.
