Day 2 - 7:40 a.m. Pick up by driver/guide in a small vehicle for a trip to Pacific Coast through Morro Bay to San Simeon for a 2 hour tour of Hearst Castle and then Elephant Seal Rookery with a picnic lunch. Return to San Luis Obispo to board Coast Starlight train leaving at 3:30. Enjoy the train ride watching miles of Vandenberg Air Force Base and Santa Barbara Coast. Turning inland at Ventura the urban sprawl takes over and the metropolis of Los Angeles emerges above the night sky. Reaching The Union Station by 9:00 you can take a cab to your destination.
