Travel by boat and foot for a true city tour with great views and relaxed pace. With an expert local guide by your side you'll get real insight into the Big Apple, exploring hidden hangouts and local color as well as those must-see icons.
Tour starts on Fifth Ave and 42nd Street for a visit to some of the most iconic buildings of NYC: the Public Library and Bryant Park, Grand Central and the Chrysler Building.
We will then embark on a ferry that will take us down the East River where you will have a chance to admire NYC's best skyline. On our arrival we will visit the grounds of New Amsterdam, Wall Street and the 9/11 Memorial.
A short subway ride to the Village for a stroll, stopping for lunch at the Chelsea Market. After a walk on the stunning High Line Park the tour will continue up the Flatiron district and end in midtown at the foot of the Empire State Building.
I will pick you up at your hotel or other location agreed on, from there we will start your custom tour of NYC. We will visit iconic and lesser known sites, along with hidden and unknown places as we walk some of the most fascinating neighborhoods in the world.
We will use public transportation to move around, subway mostly, and If interested I will tell you all about the history of what once was the largest transit system in the world. But we will also use ferries, buses, taxis and whatever transportation you choose.
The pace is relaxed so you will have plenty of time for picture taking, snack breaks and souvenir shopping.
