The ROUND ISLAND ECO TOUR departs from the Round Island Riverside kayak launch. Your guide will have your kayak, paddle board and equipment ready upon your arrival. From there paddling the calm and tranquil waters of the park is the best way to spot the three manatee families that call this park home. Dolphin, stingray and wading birds also frequent these shallow waters.
When you arrive at Round Island State Park, park your vehicle and head to the kayak launch next the bridge to Round Island. Leave any items you don't want to get wet in your vehicle. Next you'll receive your gear, safety equipment, and a short lesson on the basics of paddle boarding or kayaking from a certified PaddleFit Pro Coach. Then it's time to launch our vessel, glide through the water and explore the park's natural inhabitants up close. Since your guide is a Florida Master Naturalist, they'll share unique insight about how the park was created and the animals that call it home. No need to bring a camera because we take pictures for you and email them so you can relive your experience and share with friends and family.
