Tour description provided by Viator

On this half-day experience, learn and perform basic flight maneuvers including how to takeoff, cruise and perform three landings. Then descend to 3,500' and fly directly over the active volcanic vent! Afterwards you will land in Hilo, where you will take a break, and have an opportunity to switch pilots. Then after takeoff, fly alongside the entire northern coastline of the Big Island, filled with over 53 miles of waterfalls. At the end of the valley, turn north towards Hana, where you will get to land or perform a touch-and-go. On the third leg you will fly the northern coast line of Maui to land in Kahului. You will learn how to use GPS, autopilot, and speak to air traffic control. A spectacular once-in-a-lifetime experience.
10:30 is the usual check in time.  Maximum individual weight is 285 pounds, and the maximum for the group must not exceed 600 pounds. The Cirrus SR22 is an easy aircraft to learn to fly.  You will fly alongside Maui's Haleakala on the way up to 9,500' and cross the Big Island channel to fly next to Mauna Kea, two of the largest mountains in the northern hemisphere.  Your Certified Flight Instructor will guide you every step of the way.  After the Volcano you will conduct your first landing in Hilo.  A short break with your instructor and debriefing in Hilo and then off to the north shore waterfalls! A go pro video will be provided for an additional fee.  Gratuity for your instructor is greatly appreciated.
