This area is historic and contains two different lookout towers built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the early 1900's. The hike will leave you feeling as if you are miles outside the city but it is located just 20 MINUTES FROM DOWNTOWN!!!The hike itself is not very strenuous and can be completed by hikers of all levels. We will talk about the history, the natural surroundings, and see some amazing views of the Boston Metro area! The meeting point will be the Dunkin Donuts across from the Ashmont/Peapody Square T station which is on the red line of the Boston subway.
