Raft with one of our professional and experienced guides through America's newest National Monument, Brown's Canyon. This is a scenic and exciting rafting trip down 9 miles of Class II-III whitewater on the Arkansas River. This trip meets in Buena Vista, CO and launches from our private beach just upstream of Brown's Canyon National Monument. We provide all equipment necessary and include FREE wetsuit and neoprene boot rentals!
This adventure meets at Rocky Mountain Outdoor Center. Our Outpost is located in Buena Vista, CO right on the banks of the Arkansas River, where you will meet your professional guide and get geared up for the river. We provide each guest with a PFD and helmet. You also have the option of wearing a wetsuit, neoprene boots, and splash top, which we include free of charge! Load into your raft under the shadows of 14,000 ft peaks and launch right from our private beach, just upstream of the entrance to Brown's Canyon National Monument. Paddling downstream 9 miles on the Arkansas River, you will not only get to experience the stunning scenery of the Canyon but also the exciting rapids of the river, such as Zoom Flume, Widowmaker, and the Staircase. You will end your rafting trip at Hecla Junction, where we will have a shuttle waiting to bring you and your guide back to the outpost.
