Not nearly as spectacular as its Sudak counterpart, and neglected by the authorities, this is still a beautifully melancholic place where you can get away from the crowds and check out several medieval Armenian churches scattered around the premises. The fortress is in the western part of the city known as Quarantine. To reach it, walk to the end of vul Gorkogo and turn left to vul Portovaya.
