Begin your private tour of the Golden Horseshoe with a pick up from your hotel, where you will meet your guide before departing at 10:00 am.First, visit Olesko Castle. A grand building dating back to the 14th century, The castle was made famous thanks to the king of Poland; John III Sobieski who amassed an impressive art collection on the castle walls. It now serves as a branch of the Lviv Art Gallery, making the gorgeous collection open to the public. There is also a small park and beautiful lake near the castle.The second stop of the day is Zolochiv Castle. Constructed in the 17th century, this sprawling castle encompasses two palaces; the Great Palace of the Renaissance period and the Chinese Palace. One remarkable feature of the Chinese Palace is a stone patio designed for relaxation and meditation, and covered with delicate flowers. Explore the mysterious stones built into the castle with encoded carvings, which according to legend, bring well-being and luck.The final stop is Pidhirtsi Castle, an exceptional creation of the Renaissance period. The barricades around the castle were constructed in the 17th century to fortify this palace against enemy armies. Visit the gorgeous gardens and towering entry gates that surround the castle. Lunch is not included in the tour, but you will have time to buy lunch at one of the castle restaurants and purchase souvenirs if you want to.After the final stop, you will return to Lviv where the driver will drop you off at your hotel at around 4:00 pm.
