Ergül'ün Mutfağı

Anatolian in Doğubayazıt

The ground-floor entrance is just a bare room displaying the day's spread of pre-cooked lokanta staples (the double-stuffed aubergine is recommended). But upstairs the seating is ideal for watching life on the pedestrianised main drag, and the second room along has been decorated more interestingly with copper-work.

Ask nicely and they might cook you the Doğubayazıt speciality abdigör köfte. Annoyingly the chairs are rather too low for the height of the tables, leading to curious dining posture.
