This old timer has brand-spanking new stone rooms but still delivers old-fashioned hospitality in spades. Kemal is a terrific cook (dinner feasts €15), and Dutch wife Barbara leads guests out to hike Cappadocia's trails. Pull up a seat in the sun-dappled garden, or on the roof terrace, with views across to Uçhisar, and thumb your nose at your 'boutique' friends.
All rooms at Kemal’s Guest House come with a private entrance and private seating area at the garden or the terrace. All rooms have tea/coffee facilities. The rooms offer views of fairy chimneys. The private bathrooms feature a hairdryer and free toiletries.
You can enjoy a rich breakfast in the garden under the fruit trees and grapevines. The rooftop is also ideal for enjoying a glass of Cappadocian wine or a pot of Turkish tea.
The front desk is available 24/7. On request, the hotel also arranges guided hike tours, excursions around the area, either private day trips or tours in small groups.
Less than 10 km to Urgup town centre, Kemal’s Guest House is 80 km to Kayseri Erkilet Airport. Free private parking is available on site.
