Gestaş ferries cross the Dardanelles between Eceabat and Çanakkale in both directions (per person/car ₺3/35, 25 minutes) every hour on the hour between 7am and midnight, and roughly every two hours after that. The ticket box is right next to where passengers embark.

Bus tickets can be purchased from the Truva Turizm office opposite the port or from the Metro office in Çanakkale.


In summer regular dolmuşes run to Kabatepe ferry dock (₺4, 15 minutes); in winter they only meet the ferries. If asked, the dolmuş will drop you at the Çanakkale Epic Promotion Centre, 750m southeast of the bottom of the road up to Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair.


Dolmuşes run to Kilitbahir every 45 minutes (₺2, 10 minutes).


Bus services run to İstanbul: those to the Büyük Otogar in Esenler leave regularly (₺65, five hours); those to Ataşehir Otogar near Kadıköy on the Asian side are less frequent. Truva Turizm offers the best service.
