Hamam Cafe

Cafe in Amasra

In what was an Ottoman-era hamam on the big harbour, this easy-going cafe is perfect for sipping tea and playing backgammon among colourful lights on the disused göbek taşı (heated central 'navel stone'). The peynirli gözleme (stuffed savoury crepes with cheese) are moreish and the Amasra mantısı (Turkish ravioli; ₺15) is a speciality.
