Our tours are for the Adventure seeking travelers, we are West Adventure Tours, not West comfortable, predictable luxury tours. You can expect wild camping in swags under the stars with no bathroom facilities, however we do carry a portable toilet. We believe this way does give you the experience of a lifetime. As much as possible, we do camp in private locations for just our passengers to enjoy sitting around the campfire at the end of each night getting to know each other.
ItineraryDay 1: Perth to KalbarriStop At: The Pinnacles, Cervantes, Western AustraliaOur first stop is Nambung National Park, home of the Pinnacles Desert. Here we will walk around the limestone rock formations and visit the discovery centre.We then continue our adventure North to Kalbarri, we explore some of the coastal areas of Kalbarri in the afternoon which can include sections of the Bigurda Trail & Eagle Gorge. Tonight we will experience our first bush camp.Duration: 1 hourMeals included: • Lunch • DinnerAccommodation included: Bush Camping, sleeping in swags under the stars with minimal to no facilities. Day 2: Kalbarri to Shark BayPass By: Kalbarri National Park Coastal Cliffs, Kalbarri National Park, Western AustraliaThe beauty of bush camping is that we rise with the sun and get moving early. From our camp we head into Kalbarri National Park where we hike the inland gorges of the park including Murchison Gorge Z Bend & Natures Window.From Kalbarri we head north towards Shark Bay and Monkey Mia, we have an awesome camp right on Shark Bay just meters from the World Heritage Listed waters edge, immersed in total wilderness and surrounded by nature we can soak it all up around the campfire.Meals included: • Breakfast • Lunch • DinnerAccommodation included: Bush Camping, sleeping in swags under the stars with minimal to no facilities. Day 3: Shark Bay to Coral BayPass By: Monkey Mia, Western AustraliaWe rise nice and early and visit Monkey Mia, this is where you can see the dolphins swim up the beach and listen to the story of why they are here. If you are lucky enough, you may be chosen to feed one of them!From Monkey Mia we wave goodbye to our aquatic friends and head for Coral Bay. We access another another private wilderness camp under the stars, complete with sunset, stars and campfire.Meals included: • Breakfast • Lunch • DinnerAccommodation included: Bush Camping, sleeping in swags under the stars with minimal to no facilities. Day 4: Coral Bay to ExmouthPass By: Coral Bay Beach, Coral Bay, Western AustraliaWe spend most the day at Coral Bay where there is a variety of activities to suit all tastes and budgets, including:-Relaxing and swimming on the beach-Hiring snorkels and exploring the bay-Joining a Manta Ray Snorkeling Boat Cruise (extra cost)-Joining a Whale Shark Snorkeling Boat Cruise (in season at extra cost)Late afternoon we will continue the short drive up to Exmouth to our camp site in Cape Range National Park. Meals included: • Breakfast • Lunch • DinnerAccommodation included: Bush Camping, sleeping in swags under the stars with minimal to no facilities. Day 5: ExmouthPass By: Ningaloo Reef, Ningaloo, Western AustraliaToday is a whole day spent in Exmouth, on the Ningaloo Reef. You can decide to either spend the day exploring Exmouth with your tour guide, or book onto a Whaleshark tour (extra expense, seasonal).The day will be spent in Cape Range National Park, swim and/or relax on the beach at Turquoise Bay or even hire a snorkel. (voted one of the best beaches in Australia) We will also visit the Vlaming Head lighthouse which offer amazing views over the ocean and is a fantastic sunset location. tonight is our second night at our camp site in Cape Range National Park.Meals included: • Breakfast • Lunch • DinnerAccommodation included: Bush Camping, sleeping in swags under the stars with minimal to no facilities. Day 6: Exmouth to Karijini National ParkPass By: Karijini National Park, Karijini National Park, The Pilbara, Western AustraliaToday we say goodbye to the coast for a few days and head inland to the spectacular Karijini National Park where we will spend the night camping under the stars and begin to explore the gorges. Karijini National Park has many hikes and swimming holes/ waterfalls to enjoy.Meals included: • Breakfast • Lunch • DinnerAccommodation included: Bush Camping, sleeping in swags under the stars with minimal to no facilities. Day 7: Karijini National ParkPass By: Karijini National Park, Karijini National Park, The Pilbara, Western AustraliaWe spend today exploring what many people rate as their favourite Australian destination, Karijini National Park.The locations we visit in the park are:Hamersley GorgeWeano GorgeHancock GorgeHandrail PoolJoffre GorgeDales GorgeFortescue FallsFern PoolCircular PoolThere is so much to explore and some great hiking and swimming for the whole dayAt the end of Day 7 we return to camp and cook up another feast.Tour participants also have the opportunity to join a canyoning tour (at own expense) for today, enabling them to explore some of the the areas restricted to rope access only.Meals included: • Breakfast • Lunch • DinnerAccommodation included: Bush Camping, sleeping in swags under the stars with minimal to no facilities. Day 8: Karijini National Park to De Grey RiverPass By: Karijini National Park, Karijini National Park, The Pilbara, Western AustraliaToday we continue the rest of the gorges in the National Park that we have not yet done the day before. This would normally be East Karijini at Fortescue Falls, Fern Pool & Dales Gorge.In the afternoon we head off and stop in Marble Bar for lunch before we arrive at another private bush camp for our last night of the tour. Enjoy the campfire on tour one last time before we arrive into Broome tomorrow. Meals included: • Breakfast • Lunch • DinnerAccommodation included: Bush Camping, sleeping in swags under the stars with minimal to no facilities. Day 9: De Gray River to BroomePass By: Broome Town Beach, Broome, Kimberley Region, Western AustraliaOur last day of the tour, we journey further north up to Broome. We stop in at 80 Mile Beach for a visit and some lunch on the way and finish the day of with a famous Cable Beach sunset. You will be dropped off at your Broome accommodation at the end of the tour.
