Zurich to Neuenkirch (near Lucerne)

Hi,

We will be reaching Zurich airport (ZRH) on August 4, 2011 around 10am. We are 2 adults and 1 9-year old child.

We have a hotel reservation at Holiday Inn, LUZERN - NEUENKIRCH, NEUENKIRCH A2, LUZERN, 6023
We plan to stay in the hotel for 3 days/nights.

What will be the best way to reach the hotel from Zurich?
What will be the best, convenient way to go/from the hotel to Lucerne once we reach the hotel?

As the hotel is along the Oftringen - Lucerne highway, you will have no problem to find it with your rental car.
I don't think that you planned to go there by public transport; that would really not make much sense!
Anyway: in the case you should once need a bus, there is a bus stop called Suesstannen, that you can reach by walking about 1 km through the fields. There you could catch a bus to Lucerne every 30 minutes until 22.33 (30 minutes ride).
