Winter Festivals in Mongolia 2012

Country forums / North-East Asia / Mongolia

Hello!

Does anyone have the dates this year for the following winter festivals?

  • Tsagaan Sar (where would be a good place to enjoy this?)
  • Thousand Camel Festival
  • Ice Festival at Khovsgol Lake
  • Winteriada / International Baikal Nordic Games Festival

The Tsagann Sar seems confirmed to be on 22-23 Feb and the Ice Festival 2-3 Mar? Is there also an eagle festival at this time of the year?

Thanks much :)
