where to sleep in prague with 3 people?

Country forums / Eastern Europe & the Caucasus / Czech Republic

hi guys,

me and two friends are gonna go to prague by tomorrow. unfortunately there was a mistake with our reservation and we got kicked out.
so now we have a problem, because we quickly need accomodation from tomorrow (thursday) until sunday.

who knows a cheap and good place? could be hostel, appartment, or hotel, as long as it is cheap. but it should feature a triple-room, which can be locked. preferably close to the center, if possible.

thanks

I can suggest one option you can investigate. It is Holiday Home Pension (www.holidayhome.cz). I stayed there in mid-October last year. Very nice facility with breakfast included. Not in the center, but only a half block from the subway and only 3 stops to the center. Not exactly cheap but not expensive either. Prices were somewhat negotiable when I was there last year due to it being after the peak summer season. Hope this can help. Have a great visit.

If you drive into Prague from the West, following the signs to the center, you might drive past a booth with large "accodomdation" signs in various languages (I don't know if the booth is still there, it was at least last year). I think there are at least two of these booths along the way.

It's not a rip-off as it might seems as the girls there have a large variety of hotels and private accomodation to offer. They also arrange apartment rentals, I think the price was € 50,-- per night. Worth a try - if you find it - if you have nothing else.

Oops, just noticed that you're talking about tonight, so you probably found something. Nevermind.

I v very good experience with http://www.hotel-apartment-prague.cz/en/
Qucikly and cheap, especially apartments (flats), welcome drinks and prices for students and youngs.
