what should i do....Country forums / Indian Subcontinent / Bangladesh
i have return ticket kuala lumpur to dhaka.....will be in bd for 4 weeks...now that air asia also flies from kolkatta to kl i will consider going over land to kolkatta..but i dont want to decide this till later into my trip....my bd visa i have..obtained in canada has no info on where i exit...do u think i could just show up at the bd/india border and exit overland.i already have my visa for india..i am canadian citizen..do u think a small bribe may do the trick...i would then not retun to dhaka and purchase another ticket from kolkatta.i know that i can exchange my exit in dhaka but dont want to have to go back to dhaka...kuhlna will be my last stop in bd so this is when i will decide... Hi joe, dont hesitate a bit. Because you can easily come Dhaka, stay some days & leave for India by Benapole border. No one will ask about this. I am sure as I met many travellers who came by air & leave by land without any hassle. Hoping your safe arrival in dhaka. | 1
Hi, read my previous thread - i was told a permit for change of route is no longer necessary - i entered BD by land and left by air 3 weeks ago - no one quesitoned me whatsoever. it was not a problem... | 2
Good to know about this permit not being needed anymore. Thanks. | 3
