What is the best way to Travel from Lahore to Hyderabad Deccan in India via Atari

We have considered a few options

Bus from Lahore to Delhi then catch a flight to Hyderabad Deccan

Cross the border at Atar/Wagah and private transport to Delhi then via flight to Hyderabad Deccan

Cross the border at Wagah/Atari and flight from Amritsar via Delhi to Hyderabad Deccan

What does "best" mean to you? Fastest? Cheapest? Something else?

If it was me I would fly from Amritsar. There should be a direct flight - check schedules for IndiGo 6E107.

That is a good point. I have used it a few times lately when I couldn't get reservations on overnight trains. Convenient, saves time, and somewhat sterile. On the other hand I have savored meeting people in trains. Once I was carrying on about how wonderful a district development officer was. His spouse was in the same compartment. I had so much tasty home cooked Punjabi delights as a result. That brings added content to "savor"..
