whale watching

Leaving the Faroe Islands at the end of next week means I have about 26 hours in Reykjavik. I did the Golden Circle Tour and the Blue Lagoon last year when I had more time but this year I thought to find a good whale watching expedition. I could either go out on a boat Friday afternoon or Saturday morning; can anyone suggest a good company to go with and recommend which time is best? I would also need to leave my luggage, perhaps at a Whale Watching office?
