Weather in July - Should we go?Country forums / Central America / Nicaragua
Hey all, Can anyone verify the weather in July....are we gonna get washed out, or is it still worth going despite the afternoon downpour? Thanks
July isnt that bad as after september. Here in leon we still have lots of good days in july an august | 1
It's a toss up. It can be nice with just some showers or it can really pour. No body knows. Every year is different. Usually Oct to Dec is the worse but that can change at any given time. Last year August was bad. Year before it was June. | 2
No one can predict the weather. Hot, yes. Rain, who knows when and how much? | 3
come and brave the weather! | 4
So you dont want to visit a country due to its tropical weather? Well, at least you are not asking if it's safe... | 5
Its going to be hot,for sure. I was happy to get some rain in places like Leon and Granada ;-) Usually it was short, violent downpour in the late afternoon/evening.... | 6
Short, violent rainfalls are usually the norm. Nothing more than 2hrs daily in my experience. I remember my first trip going there in rainy season, I rainproofed EVERYTHING I had. I rainproofed my rainproofing. By the end of the trip, I felt I had been a fool to worry so much about it. | 7
