Weather/climate in Sri Lanka October/November - please help me understand!Country forums / Indian Subcontinent / Sri Lanka
Ok so it looks like I've made a little mistake... I did a lot of research a couple of months ago and was playing around with various ideas - going to Sri Lanka for a month, going for six months, going there then travelling round Southeast Asia.... Etc etc. It seems in that mix I got it in my head that I could go to Sri Lanka anytime and the weather would be dry and sunny. I'm kind of joking, but I have booked flights for us to be in Sri Lanka for what appears to be the intermonsoon time, and seems fairly unsettled cross the country - October/ November, returning early December (though return is flexible)

Yes I've seen that site and countless others... What I've gleaned is that October/November is the worst time to be in Sri Lanka weather wise... But I am wondering where the best places are in terms of dryness.... | 2
