Warm Showers

Just a reminder (or new info to those who don't know about) about Warm Showers , the world wide network of cyclists wishing to host touring cyclists in their homes!

JUst one little thing to watch out for: when you take your panniers off your bike, please make sure the bottoms are clean before putting them on hosts light coloured carpet! :-)

To reassure, no my comment was not due to any marks left by any recent LP poster. I enjoy having cyclists to stay and , living on the Danube and the common London to South East Asia route, at the moment I am averaging one or two cyclists staying overnight each week. Always enjoyable.

I've been on it for a few months, but I'm having my first visitors this week. Lucky I don't have light coloured carpet, i learnt from my own experience that cyclists need dark coloured floors!

What, striker actually getting on a bike? Hope PhilipD has a troll-bed made up....

I've got French cyclists staying with me now from the WSL! I'm really enjoying their visit. Nice conversation, good education for me. They are in their 50's, which is so inspiring to me.

Unlike #2, I'm not on a major route, so I only get a couple every six months or so.
