Volunteering in Refugee camp

Hi all,

Does anybody know of options for volunteering in a refugee camp? I have a month in mid-December-mid Jan. I found one in Ghana but it looks like a big no-no.

along the thai-myanmar border there are huge camps for refugees.
pakistan too, the outskirts of peshawar and rawalpindi have huge afghan camps.

One of the organizations along the Burma/Thai border is called "Children of the Forest". It's run by an English guy. Also, check out www.idealist.com for other volunteer opportunities. (But avoid Cambodia. They have so many foreign aid workers there now that its becoming cliche).
