Visiting Valencia from 12th July to 21st July.

Hi there

My boyfriend and I are travelling to Valencia fora little more than a week in July and im trying to plan some of our trips before hand. Thankfully, we have a friend who lives there so he will be able to point us in the directions of things to do there but I was hoping we could maybe hire a car and take a few day trips in the surrounding area. Maybe even stay a few days somewhere near by. Ive serched ts thread but there doesnt seem to be too many queries similar to this.

Can anyone help us?

For a few days, you could go to Cuenca first and then to Teruel via the enchanted city and then over the mountains to Albarracín. From Teruel, and then east into the little-visited Maestrazgo region, and from there to Morella and down to the coast at Peñíscola.
