Hi everyone. I am traveling on the 19th of sept to Islamabad and Lahore and crossing the Wagahborder to India. Bye for now,
For Lahore, i can recommend couple of days itinerary: Second day, visit Lahore meuseum, anarkali bazaar ( for bit of shopping) and Shalamar garden ( a bit of history, built by Mughals) Enjoy your trip. | 1
No problem to visit Peshawar and no permit is required. If you want to get out of town for a day or two, I would recommend Nathiegalle, a beautiful and relatively unspoilt hill station about 4 hrs from Islamabad. | 2
I would also recommend Nathiagali - which is part of the lush green cool mountains which Islamabad is a valley of. Half a day trip to Taxila is also highly recommended imo. | 3
If you are into ancient civilisations, such as the Indus , you should visit Taxila, just 30 km from islamabad. The ruins are enticing and the museum a must (closed on mondays). Easy with a taxi, not expensive, but a hell by bus. Enjoy your trip and consider going back for a trip to Hunza. Unforgettable experience. Regards | 4
There re number of places in Lahore which you could visit in 2/3 days.Lahore For,Bashahi Mosque,Jahangir's Tom,Anarkali Bazaar,Wazir Khan's Mosque and Lahore Museum and of-course flag down ceremony in Pak-India border (Wagah). Islamabad, | 5
