Country forums / South-East Asia Mainland / Cambodia

i am returning to Cambodia soon and would like to obtain the small Visa photos in Phnom Penh if possible? Anyone know of a place to do so?

Contact Gech at Sunday Guest House, she arranged our Vietnam visas and may be able to recommend a photo shop for you.
Good place to stay also.

Almost every photo shop in town (and there are plenty of them) offers passport-size photos. I usually use Diamond Photo on Monivong near the intersection of Charles de Gaulle. They have both instant passport photos (photos only, no negative) and passport photos with negative that take a few hours to prepare.

Agree with #3. Go to a photo shop. I usually go to the one opposite the Asia Hotel on Monivong. Instant or with negative (which they give you).

Hi,

Why not do as I do. Simply take, or get someone else to, a photo of yourself - save it on your computer and hey presto. I got 24 passport size to an A4 sheet and simply print them off. I usually take a good supply with me but, you can of course - depending on where you save them - print off anywhere.

Brax.

Brax - sounds great...where has this worked for you? Borders can be tricky places...i am heading to Malaysia(no problem), Laos, Thailand (no problem), maybe Vietnam.

Hi,

I have never used them in s.e. Asia but many other places. Cannot see why they would be a problem anywhere. If you have them taken at a booth or do them yourself how can anyone tell. All that is required are 2 passport size photo's or less. If you print them slightly larger just trim to exact size. I am confident you will have no problems. Enjoy your trip.

There are photo shops all over the place in Cambodia. Not difficult to find really.
