Visa on Arrival in Zanzibar?Country forums / Africa / Tanzania
Hi There | ||
Why don't you check on Timatic ? Michel | 1
Hi Mike - yes Visa on Arrival (VOA) is available at Zanzibar International Airport - the fee will be $ 50 US for a single entry visa. What LP are referring to is a practice by both Kenya and Tanzania of informing airlines carrying passengers without visas of their (the airlines) responsibility if the passengers are not admitted to the country. Kenya and Tanzania both have diplomatic representation in Australia - Kenya a full High Commission in Canberra and Tanzania a Consulate in Melbourne where you can get your visas. The only problem is that the visa fees in Australia are about double those payable on arrival and will usually take about 7 or 8 days to process by post. If you live in Melbourne you should be able to get it in 2 days. | 2
Thanks for those kind replies. Much appreciated; especially the added bit about Nairobi and YF. happy Christmas | 3
